Next In-Store Summit Set
The annual In-Store Marketing Summit is planned for April 16-18, 2008, at McDonald's Hamburger University in Oak Brook, IL. More than 350 executives are expected to attend this three-day educational and networking event, which brings together leaders from the world's largest consumer product companies, retail chains, agencies and P-O-P design firms to share insights on the latest in-store trends, tactics and strategies.Expected to sell out again, this year's event will include special keynote presentations from leading marketers and more than 20 seminars organized into six educational tracks, including Shopper Marketing, Sustainability, Branding Through Design, Building Brands In-Store and Shaping the Retail Environment.
The In-Store Marketing Summit is presented by the Executive Advisory Council of the In-Store Marketing Institute. The Institute's Advisory Council consists of senior executives from leading manufacturers who volunteer their time and talents to help the Institute. The P-O-P Hall of Fame Inductees will be announced during a special breakfast presentation. The winners are honored for their contributions to in-store marketing. Last year's winners were: Edward Grant, former senior director, retail environment, DaySpring Cards Inc.; Steve Hyland, director, retail merchandising, Coca- Cola; and Tucker McLane, manager, merchandising and technology development, Bose.
