Have you prepared your business to take advantage of the emergence and proliferation of a mobile marketplace? Mobile devices have transformed the marketplace as well as the way we do business. Consumer preferences are the driving force behind this evolution as evidenced by their purchase habits. On Black Friday, mobile payments soared 650% through PayPal. Online auction giant, eBay, reported iPhone users have generated more than $400 million in mobile sales since the online marketplace introduced its iPhone application in mid-2008. Mobile page views for U.S. retailers increased an average of 388% in 2009, led by Best Buy (up 792 %), Wal-Mart (740 %) and Macy's (447 %).
